ReplyDeleteI read about the Asian Elephant. I learned that they are about 10 feet tall and weigh around 11,000 pounds. They live in many different places such as Southeast Asia,India,Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. They eat around 310 pounds of food a day. Which include grass, bamboo, bark and roots. The reason that the elephant is endangered is because of humans cutting down the trees to get the wood to sell. I liked learning about the Asian Elephant it was very interesting.
I read about the Grevy Zebra. They live in northen Kenya in the semidesert. They eat grass and herbs. Also in the 1970s they were hunted for their skin but now in Kenya it is illagle to hunt Grevy Zebras. They are white with black stripes.
